This match was in aid of the Shane Geoghegan Trust. Second half substitutes Cattermole and Waghorn were later replaced by the return of Colback and Noble respectively. The Munster XI was mostly Limerick players, aside from Sugrue and Kerrins (Tralee Dynamos), McCarthy and O'Hanlon (Cobh Ramblers).
